Tecnalia Showcases Blockchain Innovation in France

From June 25 to 27, 2025, the city of Lille, France, hosted the 7th International Congress on Blockchain and Applications, where cutting-edge research from the MINE.IO project was presented.

The talk titled “Bridging Private and Public Blockchains: A zk-SNARK Framework for Secure ERC-1155 Transfers” was delivered by Cristina Regueiro, PhD, Senior Researcher at Tecnalia – a key partner in the MINE.IO consortium. The paper was co-authored by Darío Valarezo-Castañeda, Aitor Gómez-Goiri, and Cristina Regueiro.

The presentation focused on a novel method for secure asset transfers between private and public blockchains, using zk-SNARKs and the ERC-1155 standard. This approach supports mine.io’s broader goals of increasing transparency and trust in the digital infrastructure of the raw materials industry.

Tecnalia’s contribution at this international event highlights the consortium’s commitment to innovation and impactful blockchain solutions.
